“Thanksgiving Dinner” Book Tag

This week is going to be a week of firsts, starting out with me creating my first ever original book tag. I don’t even remember how I got this idea, but since it is the week of Thanksgiving in America, I wanted to celebrate with a bookish themed post. Since I really love books (obviously) and also love food, this is a book tag that is based on the normal thanksgiving day food items.

“Roast Turkey” is a boss among books, because of it’s strong willed and well rounded characters.

The Gilded Wolves has such a unique cast of characters that all have been through a lot and are always surprising the reader with the choices they make.

“Mashed Potatoes” is that book that makes you all mushy inside just to think about it.

The Red Scrolls of Magic features one of my favourite characters and favourite ships of all time, so I had to pick this one. It is so cute!!

“Green Beans” is the book that you personally love, but isn’t for everyone.

I love the way Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children incorporates photography into the story, but this mixed media presentation isn’t necessarily for everyone.

“Stuffing” is a book that you will never get tired of rereading.

When The Butterflies Came is such a magical book and each time I read it, I get surprised by the ending and clever story all over again.

“Cranberry Sauce” is the book that just drips sweet romance, but has a bitter ending.

Still Star-Crossed

Still-Star Crossed is full of complicated ships that were so easy to get sucked into, but it didn’t have a satisfying ending.

“Cornbread” is a book that seamlessly merges romance and adventure.

I have to go with Archenemies for this one, because the romance included is beautiful, but it is also a super action-packed read.

“Pumpkin Pie” is a special book you look forward to once a year.

Each year I immensely look forward to the latest book in this ever-growing series!

Thanks for reading! I tag Goddess of Books along with anyone else who wants to participate. If you do, please include a link to this post so people know where it originated and I hope you have fun with it!

Happy thanksgiving!
