Today’s WWW post is inspired by the fact that one of my family members is currently traveling abroad. Traveling is super fun, but it’s always a little sad for anyone left behind and so today I decided to write an American Cinquain that was inspired by the feeling of missing someone. Sometimes I get sucked into the words and lose the original direction of what I am writing, which happened with this poem, but I still like how it turned out.
“Gone, gone”
‘Gone, gone’
wind says softly
whispering through me, drags
and pulls me, t’wards that source which is
‘gone, gone’.

Happy writing! Do any of you like to travel?

I love to travel, but unfortunately with student loans and other bills I never find the funds to do so. Maybe I need to start a travel fund!
