Doctor Strange

I’ve never been very informed about the doings of Marvel and DC, besides seeing the Spiderman movies. So, when my friend, Cheshire, suggested we watch it at her house over the weekend, I was a little unsure. It sounded like a violent-mutant-slime-doctor movie which didn’t sound very interesting to me. Then, she informed me that Doctor Strange was played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and I said something to the effect of “OMG really? Oh well, let’s watch it then!” To which she replied with something like “I thought that would convince you.” She knows me too well...

Intermittent Updates

4/27/2017 “Middle of the Night”

Just now as I'm writing this I just listened to the new single from my favorite band: The Vamps. Since they have a blooming awesome new single out, there will be an extra special book review coming out this weekend! They released their book a few months ago and I will review this as well as the normal Saturday review. I hope you all had a lovely day. Do any of you listen to The Vamps too? I would make this a more detailed post, but I have to go have another dance party. Mayah XO

Beauty and the Beast

For my first ever movie review, I have chosen one of the best movies (to me) ever made. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

This book always seemed to catch my eye. But for some reason, probably my general bustling busyness, I didn’t read it. Man, oh man, was I in for a treat! When I finally did read it, I was astounded, not only by the quality, but also by the ingeniousness in the central ideas. My rating below is a four, though normally, I would say it was not one of my most favorite books. However, the inventiveness and inclusiveness of creative visuals popped it up to a four for me...

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

I’ve been a Harry Potter fan for such a long time. Upon finding out that there was going to be a new book (play really), I wasn't sure how to feel, but that sure wasn't going to stop me from reading it now, was it? For those of you who have read the original Harry Potter novels, but haven't had the chance or maybe the motivation to read this 8th story, I'll tell you why you should!...
