Mary Poppins Returns
You probably grew up with the movie Mary Poppins. I know it was one of those movies for me that you show a kid and then that's all they want to do is watch it over and over. It's a definite family classic with a special place in many people's hearts. Maybe you've also heard...

June 2017 Wrap-Up
Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful June of 2017! It wasn't necessarily a super successful month as far as how many books I planned to read and July is going to pretty lazy as far as book-reading goes...
Hairspray
I heard about it everywhere and I always wanted to see it. I watched the trailer over and over; I heard people mentioning it years after it came out. In fact, I loved it so much that I re-watched it again the next day...

So, when my friend, Cheshire, suggested we watch it at her house over the weekend, I was a little unsure. It sounded like a violent-mutant-slime-doctor movie which didn’t sound very interesting to me. Then, she informed me that Doctor Strange was played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and I said something to the effect of “OMG really? Oh well, let’s watch it then!” To which she replied with something like “I thought that would convince you.” She knows me too well...
Beauty and the Beast
For my first ever movie review, I have chosen one of the best movies (to me) ever made. Many people have, of course, seen the original Beauty and the Beast animated Disney movie, but today I am reviewing the newest version. One reason this movie is very special to me is because Emma Watson is my idol. Also, the movie was so emotional and I am still amazed at the beautiful singing in it (the cast album is also rockin’)…
