Book Review: “Anansi Boys”

I had absolutely no idea what to expect going into this book. I'd recently read The Graveyard Book graphic novel and had enjoyed it a fair amount, though it wasn't a new favourite. I did think that this book would be original and certainly very interesting, which proved to be correct. But, similarly to The Graveyard Book, this also isn't a new favourite. This book was given to me for Christmas this year and I started reading it that very same day (come on--you aren't really surprised, are you?). I don't read many graphic novels and haven't read the original version of this novel, but I like reading something outside of my norm (in fact, it is something I want to do more of this year) and so I was excited to give this book a go.
